Shri K.C. Joseph , State Minister has announced the foundation of heritage museums in five districts across the State. Sreepadam Kottaram at East Fort ,Thiruvananthapuram, Bastian Bunglow at Fort Kochi , Ernakulam, Kollamkodu Kottaram at Chembukkavu, Thrissur, Anathavalam Museum at Konni, Pathanamthitta and Pazasshi raja Tomb at Manathavadi,Wayanad are the venues selected to be made heritage museums. These museums exhibit’s a high degree of cultural historical and ancestral heritages that is unique to each district.
The works are in progress at Ernakulam and Thrissur Districts while the foundation stone for the museums will be laid at Thiruvananthapuram and Wayand on 20th and 29th of November 2013 respectively.The Minister also expressed his view in extending the heritage museums to all the districts across Kerala.
