Kerala Agricultural University has launched a nutrition supplement for teenagers and women under the brand name Teen Plus. The food supplement has been developed by Dr. Aneena ER of KVK Palakkad. The mixture consist of germinated Ragi seeds, Rice, Soya powder, Milk powder, pulses etc.
A 100g Health mix will have 38 kilo calorie energy, 9g protein, 180mg calcium, 8mg iron. No colours or food additives have been used in this mixture.
