Delhi, 23 January 2014: Polaris India has launched its first superbike in India with the iconic motorcycle brand Indian.
The Indian comes under three variants, the Classic, Vintage and Chieftain, priced at Rs 26.5 lakh, 29.5 lakh and Rs 33 lakh, respectively.
Indian brand of superbikes is manufactured by Polaris Industries based on United States. It is one of the oldest US Motorcycle brand. The bike will be imported (CBU) by Polaris India, which is a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.
Currently cruiser bikes such as Harley Davidson and Triumph are available in the market which will fight against the 'Indian'.
The company has started its first showroom in Delhi and will soon open one at Bangalore.
