Another colourful temple festival of Thrissur city, the Koorkenchery Thaipooyam will be held at Maheshwara Temple, Koorkanchery today.
The most thrilling and enchanting experience of the festival is the Kavadiyattom. Kavadis from six desams including Sreenarayana samajam Padinjattumuri, Bala Samajam Koorkanchery, Yuvajanasamajam Panamukku, Gurukula Balasangham Chiyyaram, Sreenarayana Samajam Nedupuzha, Gurudeva Samajam Koorkanchery.
The Kavadi groups will enter the temple from 10 am onwards and will perform till midnight.
