Thrissur, 8 March 2014: Folklore Academy will organise International Folklore documentary film festival titled 'Shaman' on 14th and 15th of March 2014 at Kerala Sahitya Academy Hall.
The festival will showcase documentaries based on folklore art and allied forms including Padayani, Theyyam, Kakkarissi drama, Pokkali farming etc. Around 30 documentaries from different countries will be screened in the festival.
Kazhchayude Rashtreeyam, a seminar on folklore art forms will also be held in association with the festival.
