Kochi, April 22, 2014: Leading south Indian actress Amala Paul will tie the knot with director AL Vijay on June 12 in Chennai. The marriage will be preceded by an engagement ceremony to be held at Kochi on June 7.
The Kerala born actress debuted in the malayalam movie Neelathamara as supporting actress. Her performance in Mynaa won her many awards and roles.
She has acted in almost all south Indian languages with hits such as Run Baby Run, Thalaivaa, Oru Indian Pranayakatha etc
AL Vijay who started his work as an assistant to Priyadarshan has directed movies such as Kireedam, Madrasapattinam, Deiva Thirumagal, Thalaiva and Thandavam.
Amala Paul was the heroine in his two movies Thalaivaa and Deiva Thirumagal.
