Thrissur, 19 April 2014: The Kerala State Film Awards has been declared. Fahad Fazil and Lal became the best actor where as Ann Augustine was judged as the best actress.
Fahad won the award for the performances in themovies Artist and NOrth 24 Kaatham and Lal won for his performance in Ayal and Zachariyayude Garbhanikal.
Crime Number 89 won the best movie award and director Syama Prasad was rated as the best director for the movie Artist.
Suraj Venjaramoodu who won the national award for best actor two days before was considered for the Best Comedian award.
The awards were announced by Cultural Affairs Minister Thiruvanchoor Radhakrishnan.
