29 April, 2014, Aluva: Renowned painter, sculptor and artist MV Devan passed away today afternoon in his house at Aluva. He is survived by his wife Thankamma and daugters Jamila and Shalini.
The cremation will be held at 4pm tomorrow at Ambattukavu crematorium.
MV Devan, one of the most brilliant painters Kerala has ever produced was also the founder member and chairman of Kerala Kalapeedom, Chairman of Kerala Lalita Kala Academy from 1974 to 1977 etc. He was born in Chokli, in Northern Kerala.
