Voters Slip Identity Card to be issued by Election Commission

Thrissur, 1 April 2014: The Election Commission will distribute voters slip to all voters who have their name included in the voters list. The voters slip will be distributed by the Booth Level Officers (BLOs) of the corresponding constituencies from April 1st to 5th 2014.

The voters slip will have details like the photograph of the voter, name and other details, serial number in the voters list etc.

The voters slip will be considered as an alternative to the election Identity card and can be used as a valid ID for voting.

Voters who do not receive the voters slip by 10th can get the slip from the voters help desk on the election day, said the Election Commission authorities.
