Thrissur, May 1, 2014: Live Reservation for vacant seats in running trains will now be possible at Railway stations. The facility for booking seats/berths in currently running trains after the final charting is done will be available at all leading railway stations. A 24 hour counter will function at Trivandrum and Ernakulam railway stations for this purpose.
The new service is a boon for passengers who are not able to reserve tickets in long distance trains after the charting has been done.
