12 June, 2014 Chennai: Leading south Indian actress Amala Paul tied the knot with director AL Vijay in a function held at Chennai today.
The actress from Aluva debuted in the malayalam movie Neelathamara as supporting actress. Her performance in Mynaa won her many awards and roles.
She has acted in almost all south Indian languages with hits such as Run Baby Run, Thalaivaa, Oru Indian Pranayakatha etc
AL Vijay who started his work as an assistant to Priyadarshan has directed movies such as Kireedam, Madrasapattinam, Deiva Thirumagal, Thalaiva and Thandavam.
Amala Paul was the heroine in his two movies Thalaivaa and Deiva Thirumagal.
