12 June, 2014 Thrissur: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results of the Civil Services Examination 2013.
Gaurav AGarwal from Kanpur won the first rank whereas Munish Sharma and Rachit Raj from Delhi won the second and third ranks respectively.
1122 candidates cleared the examination of which 517 candidates have cleared the examination in the general category, 326 belong to Other Backward Classes, 187 Scheduled Caste and 92 Scheduled Tribe categories.
Tony Tom Varghese (8th rank) was the lone Malayali who was included in the first ten ranks.
