Jananeethi, is a voluntary, non profit making  organisation, started in 1992,that aims at bringing radical changes in the society. The organisation includes a collective of collective of human rights defenders,activists in the spheres of culture, environment, community health and education, eminent jurists, retired judges, lawyers, academics, writers, thinkers, artists and social workers.
It helps the people aware about the human rights and civil liberties.They gives special consideration for the liberty and other fundamental rights of the defenseless.
They handle various issues like suicide prevention,  gender sensitization, legal aid, counselling, settlements of dispute, women empowerment, campaign against child labour, domestic violence and sexual harassments, community health & re-productory rights,  human rights education and legal literacy, publication of news letters, bulletins, journals, book-lets, souvenirs, books and charts, Public Interest Litigations and cultural studies.
Any body can feel free to approach the office between 9.00 am to 5.30 pm on week days and Sundays will be holiday.
