Thrissur, 12 July 2014: Monsoon Dance and Music Festival organised by Navaneetham Cultural Trust and Somaya Trust Mumbai will be held from July 14th in Thrissur.
The Dance and Music Festival will be held at 6:30 pm at Sahitya Akademi Regional theatres for six days.

14 July
Sougandhikaparvam - Fusion of Classical, modern dance forms and Kalaripayattu by Dilsagar and group from Bangalore
15 July
Mohiniyattam by Kalamandalam Kshemavathi and group
16 July
Hindustani music concert by Sumitra Guha
July 17
Odissi by Sharmila Mukherji and group
18 July
Kathak by Jaykrishna Maharaj and group
19 July
Gujarati folk dances by Rangasree School of Fine arts
Seminars
July 16-19 Mohiniyattam 10 am
July 15-19 Kalaripayattu 5 am
NAVANEETHAM was established 18 years ago with an aim to enrich the cultural exposure of art lovers in the cultural capital of Kerala. A registered Trust started by a band of art loving citizens of Trichur, Navaneetham has played an important role in popularizing various Indian art forms in Kerala.
