Thrissur, 21 August 2014: Sri Jacob Job IPS has been appointed as the Thrissur District City Police Commisioner from today. He replaces the current Commissioner P. Prakash.
Jacob Job IPS who hails from Changanacherry has served as Coastal Security IG, State Womens Commission Director, Telecommunicaton SP, Cyber Crime Nodal Officer in the past.
Kollam City Police Commissioner Debesh Kumar Behera and Assistant Inspector General of Police (Public Grievances) V. Sureshkumar have also been mutually transferred as per the latest government order
