The most awaited movie this Onam, Peruchazhi, featuring superstar Mohanlal in the lead role will be released on August 29 in over 500 screens worldwide. This will be the biggest release ever for a Malayalam cinema.

The movie directed by Arun Vaidyanathan is a political satire in which a local politician lands in the United States to work for an NRI in the US elections.

The movie also has Mukesh, Vijay Babu, Baburaj, Aju Varghese in the supporting roles. Ragini Nandwani is the heroine of the movie. Hollywood actor Sean James Sutton will be seen in a prominent role in the movie.

The music department is handled by Arrora and the songs are already been a hit.
