I Shankar-Vikram-Rahman movie to be costliest ever Indian movie


Upcoming feature film 'I' directed by Shankar and produced by Aascar V Ravichandran is all set to enter the record books. The movie is expected to be India's costliest movie ever will be released across 15,000 screens world wide. 'I' will be released across 165 countries and across in six languages including Tamil, Telegu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada and Chinese.

The film stars Vikram and Amy Jackson in the lead roles along with Suresh Gopi , Upen Patel and Santhanam in supporting roles. Weta Workshop, the company behind Peter Jackson's film trilogy The Lord of the Rings, has worked on the digital make-up and background arts for the film.  The film shot mainly in parts of China will also be released in Chinese language and will be the first Indian film to do so.

The audio launch of the movie was held on Monday at Chennai which was participated by Director Shankar, music director AR Rahman, Hollywood actor Arnold Schwarzenegger, superstar Rajinikanth etc. The trailer released in the YouTube became the fastest Indian video to reach over 2 million views in 24 hours.
