Kodugallur Bypass Kottapuram to Chanthapura to be opened to public

Thrissur, 16 September 2014: The Kodungallur Bypass from Kottapuram to Chanthapura will be inaugurated this week. The by pass inauguration and opening to public will be done by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on 18th September.  The opening of the bypass will be a boon to the congested traffic which is prevailing at Kodungallur town.

The bypass which is 3.58 kilometre long and 45 metre wide was envisaged during 1977. The road is expected to be used by vehicles including containers to and fro Kochi.
