Thrissur, 15 October, 2014: Thrissur Motor Show 2014 organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Government Engineering College, Thrissur will be held from October 16-19, 2014.
The tenth edition of the Motor Show will be held at Thekkinkad Maithan from 10 am to 8 pm.
Competitions with prizes worth 1.5 lakhs will be organised as a part of the motor show. The various competitions include
Full Throttle - Modified Car Competition
After Burn - Modified Bike Competition
Thunder Bird - Best Audio System
Royal Breed - Vintage Car
Bullet Hunt - Best Bullet
Other events include Concept Automotive, Paper Presentations, Robo Olympics, Auto Quiz, Maze-erati (Online Treasure Hunt) Pixellence (Online Photography Contest) etc. This years theme is 'Clean Thrissur, Green Thrissur'.
Bike Stunts will be highlight of this years event. Professional Bike stunt teams including Team KTM, Outlaws etc will perform as a part of the motor show.
Some of the exhibitants this year include Nissan 350Z, Aprilia RS, Astin A 40 etc. The entry fee will be Rs. 40 for Thursday and Friday whereas Rs. 50 for Saturday and Sunday. Students can avail concession for the tickets.
