The Government has launched a toll free number 1033 for road accident management services from all mobile phones and land lines inside the country.
The number will function as the toll free number of National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) and will be directed to different call centres based on the zones.
Bharat BPO will function for west zone and south zone which will cover Ahmedabad for Goa, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Rajasthan, Dadra, Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andaman and Nicobar Island, Lakshadweep and Puducherry. The south zone call centre will be located in Mysore.
