Thrissur Harthal on 23rd February 2017

Thrissur, 22 February 2017: The Kerala Festival Coordination Committee has announced harthal in Thrissur district tomorrow (Thursday, 23rd February 2017) to protest against the regulations imposed on fireworks and Pooram in noted temples in the district. The Hathal comes after severe regulations were announced for Thrissur Pooram and Uthralikkavu Pooram. The Committee alleges that the State Government has failed to find a solution fo the problem.

Congress and BJP has announced support for the Harthal.
