Thrissur, April 26, 2017: The Panthal works of the Thrissur Pooram 2017 is in the last stage of completion. The three Pandhals are being erected at Naduvilal, Naikanal and Manikantanal.
The Panthal by Thiruvambadi at Naduvilal this year will enter the record books for its height. The Naduvilal Panthal constructed by Madhu of Siva Events has a height of 110 feet. The Panthal will resemble Thanchavur Temple and will be made in Fibre and will be finished in gold colour.
The Manikantanal Panthal by Paramekkavu will be modeled on Thirupathi temple with four floors. The Panthal is designed by Krishnakumar Arattupuzha
The Panthal at Naikkanal by Thiruvambadi will be of 90 feet in height. It will be based on the traditional design with more safety features. The Panthal is designed by Manikantan Cheroor
