Thrissur, 6 February, 2014: Kerala State Road Transport Corporation plans to start Super Deluxe bus service to seven towns from Trivandrum. The new Super Deluxe buses will be offered in the following routes
Trivandrum - Ernakulam
Trivandrum - Kottayam
Trivandrum - Thrissur
Trivandrum - Palakkad
Trivandrum - Kozhikkode
Trivandrum - Sulthan Bathery
Trivandrum - Kasargode
These buses will ply in every half an hour through NH 47, NH 17 and in MC Road. The seats in the Super Deluxe buses can be reserved online. The Coporation aims to reduce travel time by these faster buses, which is expected to reach Kasargode from Trivandrum within 12 hours and Trivandrum - Ernakulam in 5 hours.
KSRTC will soon introduce multi axle Volvo Airbuses in the following routes
Kozhikode - Bangalore
Palakkad - Bangalore
Thrissur - Bangalore
Trivandrum - Ernakulam
Trivandrum - Kottayam
Trivandrum - Thrissur
Trivandrum - Palakkad
Trivandrum - Kozhikkode
