The cultural capital will be busy with the drama festival for a week. The 14th International Drama Festival ITFOK will kick off in Thrissur tomorrow. This time, 23 plays, including a Palestinian play, will be on stage. 23 plays including the anti-war Palestinian drama How to Take a Revolution and the Italian drama Alle Armi will be present at the International Arts Festival this year. The theme for the fair, which will run from tomorrow to February 16, is "Oruma Pashanam Drida Viswatsam". Along with Sangeetha Nataka Academy, Rama Nilayam, School of Drama Campus, Palace Ground and Town Hall will also be the venue for the drama festival. Culture Minister Saji Cherian will inaugurate the fair at 5 pm. Fifteen Indian plays including Malayalam and eight foreign plays will be present in the fair. 47 shows in 8 days. Theater troupes from countries like Brazil, Tunisia, Chile and Bangladesh will also reach Thrissur. Apart from the play, there will be panel discussions, music nights and workshops.
