Thrissur, 6 March 2014: The Chief Election Commission has announced the Lok Sabha election dates for different states in the country. According to the poll schedule, Kerala will go to the booth on April 10, 2014.
The election notification will be issued on March 15 and candidates can file nominations until March 22. The Scrutiny of the nominations will take place on March 24 and withdrawal date on March 26.
The election results will be announced on May 16, 2014.
There will be 11,895 polling locations which will have 21,424 polling booths and around 1.5 lakh polling officials.
