Thrissur, 6 August 2014: The Thrissur District Tourism Promotion Council will soon launch a tourism corridor connecting Vazhani, Cheppara, Pathazhakundu and Poomala Dam.
The initial steps for the new tourism corridor in the district will be launched by the District Collector MS Jaya on August 15. Vazhani Dam and its premises is currently the most developed part of the corridor. Vazhani now offers garden, childrens park, hanging bridge, residential facilities etc.
Chepparakkunnu located near Kallampara and Kurancheri is noted for its rocky hills from which the travellers can view a vast area of flora.
