Legendary actor Kamal Hassan will be acting in a Malayalam movie. Kamal Hassan has been roped in to play the role of Tippu Sultan in the Malayalam movie being directed by Vayalar Madhavankutty and produced by Gokulam Gopalan.
Bollywood actress Sreedevi will be heroine in the movie which will depict the romance between Tippu Sultan and his love interest. The movie being made in Malayalam is expected to be dubbed in south Indian languages and also in Hindi due to its ensemble cast and big budget.
Kamal Hassan is currently shooting for three movies, Papanasham, Uthama Villain and Vishwaroopam 2.
Tippu Sulthan will be producer Gokulam Gopalan's second period film, the first being the mega hit Pazassi Raja featuring Mammootty.
